Sumitomo Rubber manufactures tyres under the Dunlop, Goodyear and Falken brand names. The market has underestimated the tyre replacement cycle, which will help support tyre sales next year despite falling new vehicle sales. Sumitomo is particularly well placed with its low-cost Asian production facilities.
